Job Description:
1. Manage, coordinate, lead, oversee, and assess the functions of information systems and electronic data processing (EDP) departments and organizations.
2. Create and execute protocols and guidelines for electronic data processing and the development and management of computer systems.
3. Engage with clients to review system needs, specifications, expenses, and scheduling.
4. Gather and oversee teams of personnel in information systems to create, deploy, manage, and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks, and information systems.
5. Manage and oversee the budgetary allocations and spending for the department, organization, or project.
6. Direct and oversee the work of computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians, and other team members while managing their professional growth through training and development initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field.
2. 3+ years of software engineer experience in supervisory role.
3. Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
4. Has initiative and is able to complete complex tasks with minimal supervision.
5. Be skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly.
