Responsibilities:
Tasks:
• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
Credentials:
• Working at heights tranining
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) training
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
• Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
Additional Information
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Transportation / Travel information: Willing to travel, Valid driver’s licence, Willing to travel regularly
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Work with minimal supervision, Large workload, Tight deadlines
