Job Summary:
Canada Crushing Company, a prominent construction firm based in Ontario, Canada, is actively seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of our heavy construction machinery, including bulldozers, cranes, graders, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed inspections on heavy construction equipment, meticulously identifying and documenting any issues or irregularities to ensure proper operation.
• Use computerized equipment and testing tools to diagnose malfunctions, collaborating with senior technicians to determine necessary repair scope.
• Adjust and repair equipment using a variety of tools.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure peak performance per manufacturer specs.
• Assist with routine maintenance under experienced guidance.
• Provide support in conducting repair work on heavy trucks when required, working closely with experienced technicians.
Requirements:
• College diploma in construction, mechanical engineering, or a related field OR equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of three years of practical work experience in heavy equipment repair.
• Successful completion of industry-specific courses in heavy equipment repair.
