Qualification:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
– 2 years to less than 3 years of related work experience in the food service industry is required;
– Having knowledge of traditional Japanese sweets is an asset.

Job duties:
– Maintain records of stock, repairs, and wastage;
– Manage the cleanliness of the shop and maintain outstanding shop condition;
– Estimate and order ingredients and supplies;
– Communicate and coordinate with suppliers when a problem occurs in the ingredient ordering process;
– Ensure food service and quality control with clear understandings of Bloom Cafe’s service and product standards;
– Supervise and check assembly of trays;
– Establish work schedules and methods to meet work schedules;
– Recruit, interview, and hire staff working with management based on Bloom Cafe’s recruitment standards;
– Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures;
– Supervise and coordinate activities of pastry cooks and counter attendants;
– Monitor staff’s behaviours towards customers and lead and motivate staff to improve their skills and abilities.
