Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Repetitive tasks, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Attention to detail
Tasks: Receive and screen clinic referrals and delegate to therapists
Collect background medical information and past history
Schedule and confirm client appointments and coordination with all relevant team members
Assist with client assessments and transfers
Client training and education
Seating modifications and adjustments with therapists and equipment vendors
Custom seating shape captures with therapists
Equipment trial and fitting with therapist and/or vendors
Plan and carry out rehab programs to help improve/maintain physical function under the direction of the therapists
Purchase, set up and maintenance of equipment and supplies
Clean and maintain equipment and supplies
Sanitize clinic and equipment between appointments
Maintain client records, chart client progress
Assist with preparation and coordination of equipment funding requests
Consult/communicate/coordinate with other professionals and team members involved with clients
Perform clerical duties
Manage routine functions such as reception, phone, email and fax communication
