Job Description

Neuro Sleep Clinic operated by DR WAYNE W LAI INC provides comprehensive sleep services including clinical consultations as well as overnight sleep studies, with a dedication to superior and professional patient care. Neuro Sleep Clinic is also dedicated to providing public education as well as sleep profession education.
We are seeking to fill in 3 positions on the following terms:
• Title: Medical administrative assistant
• Format: Permanent
• Hours: Full Time (minimum workload of 30 hours a week with overtime if needed)
• Compensation: $23.50 per hour, annual vacation package (10 business days), relocation costs covered (public transport is available)
• Benefits: Extended medical and dental insurance coverage

Requirement:
• Completion of a post-secondary program
• At least 2 years of proven administrative experience
• Excellent English language skills, language of work
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent organizational skills (knowledge of MS Office Suite)
• CPR certified
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide the Operations Director and Chief Medical Director with administrative support and assistance as needed; manage schedule including internal and external meetings.
• Manage correspondence addressing emails, taking memos and maintaining files and postal mail) efficiently and effectively.
• Answering phone inquiries, directing calls, and providing basic company information.
• Comfortable with performing clerical duties, taking memos, maintaining files, and organizing documents. Photocopying, faxing, collating etc., as needed.
• Maintains medical and staff records.
• Ensures all staff are provided with timely, accurate information and documentation for meetings and presentation.
• Organize departmental meetings; prepare agendas, coordinate, attend meetings; take and distribute minutes.
• Handles confidential information; organized and maintains files.
• Organize, store, and retrieve documents.
• Create and format documents, charts, Excel spreadsheets and presentations.
• Provides assistance as needed to Office Manager, Chief Sleep Technologist and MOAs.
• Maintain high level of knowledge of all departmental functions and activities in order to respond to internal and external inquiries and requests for information and departmental support.
• The Employee will be assigned to help with assigning Level 3 studies to scoring technicians.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
