Tilesetters

PALMASTER’S TILE & STONE LTD. requires full-time 2 Tilesetters. We are located at 12950 224th St., Maple Ridge, BC V4R 2P9

Your duties will be the following:

Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, build under beds, and install anchor bolts, wires, brackets, and tile strips.
Prepare cost estimates as required.
Set tiles in position, apply pressure to affix tiles to the base, and mix, lay, and polish terrazzo surfaces.
Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, and other adhesives using hand trowels, as well as align and straighten tiles using levels, squares, and straightedges.
Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
Install tile strips; Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
Cut, polish, and install marble and granite.
Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full-time. These are year-round, full–time positions.
Offered wage: We offer $34.75/hr. 40 hours/week.
