Web Designer

D.C.S. Technology Inc., located in Sicamous, BC, has a vacancy for a Web Designer position.

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our team as soon as possible.

The candidate will perform the following duties:
• Design and implement new software programs, including websites.
• Maintain and improve the performance of existing software and websites.
• Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues.
• Design and update software and website database.
• Collaborate with database administrators to design appropriate data structures.
• Design web pages using animations and graphics for an Interactive user interface
• Maintain optimization of the website for different browsers
• Maintain page loading speed and SEO (Search engine optimization) of the website.
• Create and optimize content for the website using a variety of graphics, databases, animation and other software.

Job Location: 1120 Riverside Ave, Sicamous, BC V0E 2V0
Compensation: $31.00/hour for 40 hours/week

Education level: · Completion of high school · A bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in computer science, web design, or business is required. · Minimum 1 year of professional web design experience is required.
