Drywall Installers

KMJ Trading Corporation is seeking to hire 1 Drywall Installer to join our company full-time. We are looking for a hard-working, experienced installer. KMJ Trading Corporation is located at 1101 Kalamlka Lake Rd. Suite 201 Vernon, BC V1T 6V4.

The right candidate will perform the following duties: Read and interpret blueprints; measure the material to be cut and fit to cover walls and ceiling; measure and cut metal runners and studs to size; understand how to place and secure the drywall sheets on metal or wooden studs and/or joists; tape joints and apply the compound as needed and allow walls to dry; sand walls and ceilings to remove any excess compound, create surfaces as per design; have the ability to cut, joint and create shaped surfaces according to construction drawings; ability to use all hand and power tools of the trade; ability to communicate in English and perform other related duties as required.

We are offering $30.00/hr for 40 hrs/week. Our projects are located in Vernon, BC.

Required languages: English

Education level: High School

Required skills: The Drywall Installers will have at least 3 years of experience working in the field. Some industry courses, in addition to the work experience, would be considered an asset.
