Job Duties:
• Cut stone to size as per work order and drawings provided by operating blade or wire saws.
• Operate machine to drill holes in blocks or slabs of stones according to specifications.
• Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs or other stone products to specific shape or design and to produce smooth finish.
• Cut inscriptions or decorative design in stone monuments by operating sandblasting equipment.
• Finish Stone product with spray paint and by mounting plaques.
• Install concrete bases to finish stone products.
• Sharpen and Dress grindstones that grind logs into pulp by operating stone-dressing lathe.

Working Conditions:
• Heavy workloads, stand, bend, crouch, and kneel.
• Job is physically demanding, ability to lift 50lbs is an asset.
• Attention to detail.
• Hand-eye coordination.
