Job Description

Our company, Star Fish Seafood Ltd., was established in April 2020. We mainly export live Dungeness crabs to China, Singapore, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, and Europe. Our company upholds the integrity and quality first business philosophy, specializing in the acquisition of local Canadian fishermen’s seafood products, through the wholesale self-management, direct delivery mode of origin, to check the safety and quality of all types of seafood, with a professional attitude to provide customers with fresh and excellent quality, health and safety, reasonable price of live seafood.

Job Description:
• Manage day-to-day operations of the office and oversee various office tasks and functions to ensure office operations run smoothly at all times.
• Build and keep optimizing administration management regulations and policies, constantly improving management efficiency
• Supervise office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and implement new procedures
• Manage office budget, expenses, procurement, office supplies and food programs, so as to ensure sufficient administrative support for business needs as well as reasonable operation costs;
• Provide executive support to Directors
• Coordinate interviews for new hires within the business and managing the new hire process.
• Support the employee onboarding and departure experience;
• Manage and support local events, meetings, off-sites, team building and other office activities

Required languages: English

Education level: Post-secondary education

Required skills: • Three years of administrative support or related experience • Strong service awareness, sense of responsibility and team spirit, willing to solve problems with efficiency; • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills; • Attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
