Farm Labour

Tajman Farm Labour Contractors Ltd, located at 12358 69A Ave, Surrey, BC, V3W 0A5, is looking to hire 3 Farm Labourers. The Farm Labourers will perform the following duties:

• Prepare land for planting
• Plant, cultivate and harvest crops.
• Prune beginning after leaf drop
• Remove diseased and dead wood
• Irrigate plants as directed
• Incorporate sawdust or compost in planting beds as directed, flush irrigation systems and sprayers to protect against winter damage
• Maintain, clean and store farm tools after use
• Store harvested fruits as directed
• Report to and follow the directions of a farm Supervisor.
• Other general farm duties as assigned.

Work location: across the lower mainland and the Fraser Valley
Wages: 16.75/hr for 40 hr/week

Required skills: We are looking for candidates willing to work outdoors in different weather conditions, and we will provide on-the-job training as needed. Ability to speak basic English. Transportation will be provided to the work locations.
