Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required
– 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience as a cook is required
Job duties
– Prepare and present Sushi dishes such as Nigiri, Rolls, and Hand Cone;
– Prepare and present cold dishes such as Sashimi and Carpaccio;
– Prepare, cook, and present Japanese dishes such as Kushi-age (deep-fried skewers) and Tempura;
– Suggest/plan menus, determine size of food portions and presentation of food, and estimate food requirements;
– Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and instruct them as needed;
– Inspect kitchens and food service areas;
– Clean kitchen and work areas
