Job Description

Location of work: 5242 Avenue du Parc, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, H2V4G7.
Job Title: Meat Clerk
Term of employment: Full Time 2 years/ Renewable. 40 hours per week
Start day: As soon as possible
Shift(s): 5 Days a week, may require working on weekends.
Language: English
Wage: $ 16.75 per hour.
Openings: 20

JOB DUTIES
Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting.
Wrap and package prepared meats, Weigh meats for sale, Price meat products, Sell meats to customers.
Supervise other butchers, meat cutters and fishmongers, Train meat cutters.
Cut carcasses, sides and quarters, Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat.
Remove bones from meat, Grind meats, Slice cooked meats.
Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Minimum one year relevant experience
Organized, Team player, Reliability
Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods
