JOB DESCRIPTION
The Chief Executive Officer of Start Smart Business Solutions Inc., a healthcare consulting and business coaching company, will plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the organization’s operations through middle managers to achieve established objectives. The CEO will formulate and implement policies that set the strategic direction of the company. The CEO will ensure alignment with the mission to assist Canadian businesses in navigating the licensing and regulatory complexities of the Food & Drug, Medical, Pharmaceutical, and Life Science sectors.

JOB DUTIES
The duties of the Chief Executive Officer at Start Smart Business Solutions Inc. will include but are not limited to:

• Establish clear objectives for the company that align with its mission to assist Canadian businesses in navigating the licensing and regulatory frameworks of the Food & Drug, Medical, Pharmaceutical, and Life Science sectors. Formulate and approve policies and programs that support these objectives.

• Authorize and oversee the creation of major departments and senior staff positions essential for delivering specialized healthcare consulting and business coaching services.

• Allocate material, human, and financial resources effectively to implement organizational policies and programs. Establish financial and administrative controls to ensure the efficient operation of consulting services and business development initiatives.

• Select and mentor middle managers, directors, and other executive staff who will contribute to the strategic goals of the company, particularly in the areas of licensing support and professional development.

• Coordinate the work of departments to ensure seamless service delivery across Canada.

• Represent the company in negotiations and official functions, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the company, building relationships with stakeholders in the healthcare sector and regulatory agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, healthcare, or a related discipline is required.
• Three years to less than five years of experience as a middle manager in financial, communications or other business services are required.
