Job Description
• Make adjustments to process variables
• Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines
• Maintain shift log of production
• Check products for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards
• Perform corrective machine adjustments
• Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Record production information
• Prepare production and other reports
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Identify, control and prevent hazards at all stages of the food production process
• Inform the manager of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities
• Assist with maintenance issues and limit mill downtime
• Check products to ensure conformance to company standards and clear machine blockages as required
• Record production information such as quantity, weight, size, date and type of products packaged
• Perform corrective machine adjustments, clean machines and immediate work areas.

Requirements:
– Education: Completion of secondary school is required
– Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in working in a maintenance role.
– Experience as a machine operator is a great asset

Education level: High School

Required skills: Education: Completion of secondary school is required - Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in the food and/or beverage processing sector is required, if candidate does not have at least 1 years of experience, a college certificate or other specialized training in technical or maintenance background - Experience as a machine operator is a great asset
