Job Description

Pemberton Holmes Commercial Property Management now hiring for a Building Maintenance worker to provide general building and grounds maintenance for managed properties in and around Greater Victoria.

Location of work: Suite 101- 891 Attree Avenue , Victoria, British Columbia, V9B 0A6, BC
On the road job, will be travelling between properties and running for supplies.
Salary: $20.00 / hour
Vacancies: 1

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time: 30 hours / week

JOB REQUIREMENT
Languages: English
Education: Not required, We can provide Training for WHMIS, Fall Protection, First Aid and CPR certification, cost borne by the Company.
Experience: Experience is an asset, Electrical experience an asset. We willing to train the right candidate.
Valid driver’s licence

SPECIFIC SKILLS
Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
Empty trash cans and other waste containers
Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
Perform minor repairs on appliances
Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Accompanying and supervising third-party trades / providing access to building service rooms for scheduled maintenance
