Qualifications:
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
– Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
– 2 years to less than 3 years of related work experience in a restaurant is required;
– Having knowledge of traditional Japanese pastries is an asset.
Job duties:
– Supervise and co-ordinate activities of kitchen staff and counter attendants;
– Train kitchen staff and counter attendants in sanitation and safety procedures;
– Ensure food service and quality control is always properly implemented according to the service and quality standards of NEO COFFEE BAR;
– Establish work schedules, and methods and plans to meet the schedules for kitchen staff and counter attendants;
– Train staff in job duties;
– Ensure food orders are properly handled by counter attendants and kitchen staff;
– Report operational issues to the company’s management office when required;
– Prepare and submit sales reports to the company’s management office on a regular basis;
– Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage;
– Prepare budget and cost estimates for supplies and beverages;
– Order supplies and beverages, and ensure a healthy level of stock is always maintained;
– Recruit, interview, and hire food service staff.
