Job details
Location: 3307 Route 101, Tracyville, NB E5L 1N7
Salary: $15.00 to $18.75 / Hour

Wage Structure:
• $15-$17/hr – New Hires will earn between $15-17/hr which will be determined by the employer taking factors such as experience, skill level and education into consideration. Employees’ wages and any increases will be determined solely by the employer using the above criteria as a guide.

• $15-$18.75/hr – The employer will determine when an employee will be entitled to this wage range. Certain criteria will be looked at by the employer to determine the appropriate wage. Some of the factors the employer will take into consideration are job performance (which includes but is not limited to attendance, safety performance and flexibility), skill level and length of service. Employees’ wages and any increases will be determined solely by the employer using the above criteria as a guide.

Vacancies: 10 vacancies
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 40 to 45 hours per Week
Starts as soon as possible
Employment conditions: Day, Night, Weekend (potential), Overtime (potential)

Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Experience an asset
Work Site Environment: Noisy, Dusty, Hot, Cold (weather related temperatures)
Work setting: Sawmill, Wood treatment plant, other wood processing
Tasks:
• Feed conveyors, hoppers, saws and drying machines
• Sort, pile and transport wood products
• Remove scrap lumber and wood chips for reprocessing
• Assist other processing workers
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
Type of product: Lumber
Equipment and machinery experience (asset): Operate forklift, Shovel, Nail guns
Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is not available (Employer can help facilitate carpooling, etc.)
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety shoes (Employee must have their own steel toe boots, the Employer will provide: tools, safety equipment/gear – glasses, gloves, earplugs)
