Are you passionate about the art of baking? Lucullus Bakery is seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as Bakers at our SCARBOROUGH location. We are a renowned bakery known for our delicious and freshly baked goods, and we are looking for talented individuals who can contribute to our reputation for excellence.

As a Baker at Lucullus Bakery, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and creativity while producing high-quality baked goods that bring delight to our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, surrounded by a team of passionate bakers.

Bakers perform some or all of the following duties:
• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
• Operate baking machinery
• Bake mixed doughs and batters
• Frost and decorate cakes or other baked goods
• Ensure quality of products meets established standards
• Draw up production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods to produce
• Purchase baking supplies
• May oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
• May hire, train and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.

Employment requirements
• Completion of secondary school is usually required.
• Completion of a three- or four-year apprenticeship program for bakers

Flexibility with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Monday to Friday
40 hours/week
