Job Description

Lobster Burger Bar serves delicious dishes with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients sourced from local Canadian farmers and producers. Our burgers are made from certified AAA-Aged Angus Beef. All protein offerings, including lobsters, are hormone and antibiotic-free. Fresh lobsters are brought in weekly from our town plant on the East Coast of Canada.

LBB is looking for experienced Cooks to join their culinary team. If cooking is your passion, we offer opportunities for growth and development and to work with some highly talented chefs.

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef
• Clean and disinfect the kitchen and work area
• Manage kitchen operations
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Organize and manage buffets and banquets

• Effectively communicate both verbally & in writing
• Graduate from a culinary school an asset
• Minimum work experience in the kitchen of at least 1 + years
• Thorough knowledge of the usage of kitchen equipment’s professional culinary technical skills
• Able to work in a busy environment

• Food safety. In most cases, it’s the role of cooks to check that the food they prepare is safe for consumption

START DATE: March 06, 2023
• Full-time Permanent
• $16/HR @ 8 hours shift, posible OT if busy
• 40 – 44 hours, depending on the demand
• Holidays
• Weekends
