Job Duties:
1. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, main courses, soups, and desserts.
2. Design and customize menus for banquets, weddings, conferences, and other special occasions.
3. Develop the restaurant’s annual menu, conduct tastings, and introduce innovative dishes.
4. Keep track of inventory and records for food, supplies, and equipment.
5. Estimate food costs and create procurement plans ahead of the operating season, ensuring the availability of high-quality ingredients.
6. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety standards.

Required languages: English

Education level: Completion of Middle School is required.

Required skills: 1. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, main courses, soups, and desserts. 2. Additional skills / Assets - A minimum of 2 years of experience as a cook is required. Specialization in Chinese or other foreign cuisines is an asset. - Certification in cooking is an asset. - Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. - Comfortable working in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.
