Job Description:
• Create and update course outlines, materials, and resources that align English language learning with vocational subjects.
• Provide dynamic and interactive English instruction, integrating industry-specific language skills into the curriculum.
• Design and administer assessments, exams, and assignments to measure language proficiency and provide constructive feedback.
• Tailor teaching methods to cater to diverse student backgrounds, language levels, and learning styles.
• Incorporate current industry trends, terminology, and scenarios into lessons, enhancing students’ communication skills in their chosen field.
• Coordinate with vocational instructors to ensure language instruction complements vocational training, fostering interdisciplinary learning.
• Provide individualized assistance to students facing language challenges, promoting language growth alongside vocational studies.
• Integrate digital tools and online platforms to enhance language learning experiences and prepare students for tech-driven workplaces.
• Track and evaluate student language development, identifying areas of improvement and adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, attend workshops, and contribute to the college community through curriculum enhancement.
