Qualifications:
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
2 years to less than 3 years of related work experience in a restaurant is required;
Work experience in Japanese restaurants and having knowledge of Japanese Cuisine is an asset.

Job duties:
– Supervise and co-ordinate activities of kitchen staff and servers;
– Ensure food service and quality control is always properly implemented according to the service and quality standards of Don Don Izakaya;
– Prepare and submit daily sales reports to management;
– Establish work schedules, and methods and plans to meet the schedules for kitchen staff and servers;
– Prepare budget and cost estimates;
– Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage;
– Order supplies and beverages, and ensure a healthy level of stock is always maintained;
– Address customers’ complaints or concerns;
– Supervise food and beverage servers and other staff;
– Interview candidates for food and beverage server positions and train new employees.
