On Site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work site environment: At heights, confined spaces, dusty
Work setting: Construction, maintenance and repair, marine works
Level of Expertise: Maintenance and repair

Responsibilities
Tasks:
– Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools;
– Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials;
– Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems;
– Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
– The cleaning duties included in carpentry work include cleaning and maintaining workstations to ensure safe work practices. This task is very limited and normally accounts for less than 5% of the employees total work time.
