Company Introduction
Castella Manufacturing Ltd. is the manufacturing subsidiary of Castella Capital Ltd. Castella manufacture various desserts like Japanese cheesecake soufflé, Cheesetarts, Basque cheesecake, tiramisu and more. The company supplies to Castella operated retail stores, as well as contracted restaurants and cafe partners throughout British Columbia and Alberta.

Job Description:
• Prepare and edit company written materials including correspondence, documents, reports etc.
• Handle correspondence, including writing and responding to emails and letters, to maintain an effective exchange of information within and outside the organization,
• Answer telephones and other inquiries, and redirect to appropriate personnel
• Schedule appointments and meetings for management and staff which may involve coordinating with other departments or external partners
• Maintain and monitor the inventory of office supplies by ordering online or making purchase as well as arranging servicing of equipment when needed
• Maintain accurate records and data related to inventory, sales, and customer orders
• Handle customer inquiries and processing orders from customers and be responsible for managing the bakery’s customer database and ensuring that all customer information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure that the bakery has the necessary supplies and ingredients for its operations
• Providing general administrative support, such as data entry and filing

Required languages: English

Education level: Secondary school graduation certificate

Required skills: • administrative experience is an asset • Strong organizational and time management skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment • Administrative education an asset
