Job Description
Blackcomb Lodge Ltd. located at 4220 Gateway Dr, Whistler, BC – V8E 0Z7 is looking for a Front Desk Supervisor.
The right candidate must share our commitment to providing the highest quality of service to our guests to ensure a pleasant and memorable experience.
This is a permanent, full–time position.
Job Duties:
• Ensures outstanding customer care at all times.
• Supervises daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to our operating procedures and are friendly and attentive to our guests’ needs and service.
• Trains and directs the workflow and processes of the front desk.
• Resolves issues/problems and coaches the front desk team members.
• Ensures phone calls, wake-up calls, and messages for guests are handled in a prompt, efficient and professional manner.
• Crosschecks all billing to ensure accuracy.
• Handles group arrivals and pre-registers each guest ensuring accurate information and billing.
• Controls cash transactions at the front desk
• Ensures Front desk log books are updated.
• Prepares hotel front desk clerks’ work schedules.
• Ensures front desk supplies are stocked and computer equipment is functioning properly.
• Oversees the business center and ensures the area is clean and guest-ready at all times.
We are offering $22.00/hr 40 hours/week

Required skills: A minimum of one year of experience as a front desk clerk or completion of a program in hospitality or a related field is required. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff. Must possess excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on ensuring an overall positive guests experience during their stay at the lodge.
