Job Description

Angel Food Services Ltd and AF Support Services are two management companies established by Mr. Nader Tabesh, a Red Seal and Executive Chef since August 2014. Both companies provide quality food and support services to healthcare facilities in BC. Currently the company operates in residential care facilities in Burnaby, Coquitlam, Richmond and Vancouver (Foyer Maillard Care Home, Normanna Care Home, Dania Care Home, Dania Manor, SUCCESS Simon K.Y. Lee Senior Care Home, Austin Harris Residence). The company serves almost 400 residents daily through its combination of clinical nutrition, food services, housekeeping and laundry services. With the increasing number of residents needing services, there is a need to hire additional staff in order to meet the demands of the workload.

The company is in need of Food Services Manager (1 position) to add to their diverse, reliable and energetic staff.

Job Location: Foyer Maillard Care Home, 1010 Alderson Ave Coquitlam, BC V3K 1W1
Workplace Information: On Site
Salary: $35.00 hourly / 40 hours per week

Overview

Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities
Tasks: Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies, Evaluate daily operations, Monitor revenues to determine labour cost, Monitor staff performance, Plan and organize daily operations, Set staff work schedules, Supervise staff, Train staff, Conduct performance reviews, Cost products and services, Organize and maintain inventory, Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, Leading/instructing individuals, Address customers’ complaints or concerns, Provide customer service
Supervision: More than 20 people
